Channel Distribution Precedence Architecture

Strict hierarchical resolution

The distribution engine resolves the effective channel stream for every client device deterministically according to this precedence hierarchy:

Highest Priority (1)
Individual Device Override
Targeted specifically to a single device. Overrides all group memberships and global defaults immediately.
Medium Priority (2)
Device Group Assignment
Assigned to a device group (e.g. "Reception screens"). Applies to all member devices lacking an individual override.
Fallback Default (3)
Global Broadcast
Fleet-wide broadcast stream. Automatically streams to all approved devices without higher overrides.
